Creamy Garlic Pasta

  • 8 oz Pasta (spaghetti, penne, or whole wheat)
  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Cheese (parmesan or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup Mixed Vegetables (bell peppers, spinach, zucchini)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta using a colander.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute.
  3. Add Vegetables: Toss in your vegetables, stirring them until they soften, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the drained pasta to the skillet. Pour in heavy cream and cheese, mixing everything thoroughly.
  5. Season and Serve: Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve warm.
