  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy—about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add in the lemon zest, dried lavender, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Incorporate the flour and salt, mixing until a cohesive dough forms.
  5. Add the lemon juice and gently stir.
  6. Shape the dough into small balls, place them on ungreased baking sheets, and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are light golden.
  8. Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Enjoy warm with a cup of tea or coffee.
