Korean Beef Bowl

A delightful Korean Beef Bowl featuring savory ground beef, colorful vegetables, and fluffy rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup chopped fresh vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat but keep a tablespoon for flavor.
  2. Lower the heat, then add in the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sesame oil. Stir to combine everything well. Allow it to simmer and meld for about 5 minutes.
  3. Serve the beef mixture over a bed of fluffy rice. Top with chopped fresh vegetables and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Notes

Keep an eye on the beef to prevent overcooking; it should remain juicy. Consider marinating the beef in advance for enhanced flavor.
