  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and brown sugar.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the gochujang with a little water to create a glaze, then brush it over the meatballs.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

You can prepare the meatball mixture in advance and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours. For a crispier texture, try air frying at 375°F (190°C) for about 12-15 minutes.
