A delightful low-carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring ground beef, cheese, and sautéed vegetables wrapped into irresistible roll-ups.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the ground meat to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Lay out slices of cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spoon the meat and vegetable mixture onto the cheese slices and roll them up.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your low-carb meal.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the meat and vegetable mixture ahead of time and bake when ready. For a crispier texture, use an air fryer for about 10-15 minutes.
