Keto Broccoli and Cauliflower Au Gratin with Sausage Delight

A comforting and indulgent keto dish featuring roasted vegetables, creamy cheese, and smoky sausage, perfect for gatherings or meal prep.

  • 2 cups Cauliflower Florets (Fresh or pre-chopped)
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets (Lightly steamed)
  • 1 pound Sliced Smoked Sausage
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 medium Onion (Diced)
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese (Softened)
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the diced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Add the sliced smoked sausage to the skillet, cooking until browned for around 5-7 minutes.
  5. While the sausage cooks, mix the softened cream cheese and heavy whipping cream in a bowl until smooth.
  6. Once the sausage is ready, remove the skillet from the heat and fold in the lightly steamed broccoli and cauliflower florets.
  7. Pour the creamy mixture over the veggies and sausage, stirring to coat evenly.
  8. Transfer the mix into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  9. Generously sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
  11. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Make ahead and store in the fridge overnight before baking. Can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
