Irish Cream Oreos: Indulge in This Festive Delight!

A delightful treat combining the rich flavors of Irish cream with the classic Oreo cookie, perfect for festive occasions.

  • 1 package of Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup of Irish cream liqueur
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and Irish cream liqueur until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
  3. Fold in whipped cream gently until fully incorporated.
  4. Take Oreo cookies and carefully twist them apart.
  5. Spread a generous amount of the Irish cream mixture on one half of the Oreo and place the other half on top.
  6. Repeat until all cookies are filled.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute Irish cream liqueur with a non-alcoholic Irish cream syrup.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
