“Hocus Pocus Halloween Cookies That Will Enchant You!”

Delicious and spooky cookies inspired by the movie Hocus Pocus, perfect for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (green, purple, orange)
  • Royal icing for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Divide the dough into three portions and color each with food coloring.
  7. Roll out the dough and cut into Halloween shapes.
  8. Place cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Let cool and decorate with royal icing.

Notes

  • For best results, chill the dough for 30 minutes before rolling out.
  • Use different cookie cutters for a variety of shapes.
