Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Remove the pork chops and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add garlic, rosemary, and thyme, and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Add apple cider and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the glaze over them.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through.
  9. Remove from the oven, add butter to the glaze, and let it melt before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use bone-in pork chops for more flavor.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding more or less apple cider.
  • Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving to retain juices.
