- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove the pork chops and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic, rosemary, and thyme, and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add apple cider and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the glaze over them.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through.
- Remove from the oven, add butter to the glaze, and let it melt before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use bone-in pork chops for more flavor.
- Adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding more or less apple cider.
- Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving to retain juices.
