Garlic Steak Pasta

A rich and creamy Garlic Steak Pasta with succulent steak and aromatic garlic, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or your choice)
  • 2 steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving a little pasta water.
  2. Sear the Steaks: Season the steaks with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook about 3-4 minutes per side for medium. Remove and cover with foil.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour in heavy cream and stir, scraping any bits off the pan. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Combine Steak and Pasta: Slice rested steaks into bite-sized pieces. Add them to the sauce with the drained pasta, tossing everything together. Add reserved pasta water as needed for sauce texture.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Consider adding vegetables like spinach for added nutrition.
