Garlic Butter Pasta

Indulge in the comforting and rich flavors of Garlic Butter Pasta, where al dente pasta meets creamy garlic butter and Parmesan.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add your chosen pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, saving a little pasta water in case you need it later.
  2. Melt the butter: In a well-heated large skillet over medium heat, add the butter. Watch it as it begins to bubble gently, releasing that fantastic aroma.
  3. Sauté the garlic: Once the butter melts completely, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown too much.
  4. Combine the pasta and sauce: Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, giving it a good mix to coat each strand evenly in that garlic butter.
  5. Add the cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until it melts beautifully. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve and garnish: Plate the pasta and finish with a sprinkling of freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy hot!
