  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Trim the leeks and remove the tough outer layers, keeping the white and light green parts.
  3. Blanch the leeks in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  4. In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  5. Add the ground beef, thyme, salt, and pepper, cooking until the beef is browned.
  6. Stir in the cooked rice and mix well.
  7. Carefully stuff each leek with the beef mixture.
  8. Place the stuffed leeks in a baking dish and pour the beef broth over them.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and the leeks are tender.
