- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms and onions until soft.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
- Add the sautéed mushrooms and onions to the egg mixture, followed by the shredded cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
