Coffee Jam

A velvety blend of coffee, sugar, and lemon, this simple yet decadent coffee jam transforms your breakfast with its rich flavors.

  • 1 cup freshly brewed coffee
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee, about 1 cup.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the brewed coffee, granulated sugar, and fresh lemon juice.
  3. Stir with a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture starts to simmer (about 5–7 minutes).
  5. Allow the mixture to simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring regularly.
  6. To check if your jam is ready, drop a spoonful onto a cold plate; if it holds its shape, it’s done!
  7. Remove from heat, cool slightly, then pour into clean glass jars and seal tightly.

Notes

This jam keeps well in the refrigerator for up to three weeks and can be frozen for up to six months.
