Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the milk, alternating between them, until just combined.
  6. Portion the batter into cupcake liners, filling them about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
