Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches

Tender, juicy shreds of beef slow-cooked to perfection and served in crusty rolls with rich au jus.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 hoagie rolls
  • Sliced provolone cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Add sliced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  4. Remove the roast and shred it with two forks.
  5. Strain the cooking liquid to make the au jus.
  6. Serve the shredded beef on hoagie rolls.
  7. Enjoy the first bite with a side of au jus for dipping.
