Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites

Delightful crispy salmon bites coated in panko and served with a creamy, tangy Bang Bang sauce. Perfect as appetizers or a main dish.

  • 1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for Bang Bang sauce)
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon by cutting it into 1-inch cubes and patting them dry.
  2. Set up your breading station with bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and a panko mixture with spices.
  3. Coat each salmon cube in flour, then dip in eggs, and roll in the panko mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the salmon bites in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  6. Prepare the Bang Bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice.
  7. Serve with the Bang Bang sauce drizzled or on the side.

Notes

Make-ahead of time if needed; you can prepare the salmon bites and store them in the fridge for a few hours before frying.
