Creamy Garlic Mushroom Stuffed Shells

Indulge in a comforting dish of jumbo pasta shells stuffed with a creamy garlic and mushroom filling, enveloped in a luscious sauce.

  • 12 Jumbo Pasta Shells
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (cremini or button), chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Fresh Parsley for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add mushrooms and garlic, and sauté until golden and tender.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed mushrooms, cream cheese, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the mushroom mixture.
  6. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and additional Parmesan to create a sauce. Stir until melted and smooth.
  7. Pour a layer of sauce in a baking dish, arrange stuffed shells on top, and pour remaining sauce over them.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing the dish in advance and refrigerating. Adjust baking time if cooking from cold.
