Cream Cheese Spaghetti

A comforting dish with spaghetti coated in a creamy sauce made with cream cheese, garlic, and Parmesan, perfect for warm family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 300g spaghetti
  • 100g cream cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the spaghetti, and cook until al dente, reserving a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté the garlic and melt the cream cheese. Heat olive oil over medium heat, sauté garlic until fragrant, reduce heat to low, add cream cheese, and stir until melted.
  3. Mix in heavy cream & Parmesan. Gradually pour in heavy cream while stirring, add grated Parmesan, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss the sauce with pasta. Add drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss gently with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Garnish & serve hot! Transfer to serving plates, sprinkle with fresh basil, and enjoy!

Notes

For make-ahead, prepare the sauce a day in advance; reheat gently before adding pasta. Customize with vegetables or proteins for added flavor.
