  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken: Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear for perfection: Heat olive oil, add chicken, cook until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes on each side, then set aside.
  3. Create the sauce: Lower heat, melt butter, stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
