- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the donut holes are baking, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a bowl.
- Once baked, remove the donut holes from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Roll the warm donut holes in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
