- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and broccoli florets to the pan, stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer, cooking until the broccoli is tender.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sliced chili peppers.
- Feel free to substitute the beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
