Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ground chicken
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup plain yogurt
2 cloves garlic, minced (for yogurt sauce)
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste (for yogurt sauce)
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, and breadcrumbs. Mix well.
Form the mixture into small meatballs (koftas).
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the koftas until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt to taste to make the garlic yogurt sauce.
Serve the koftas warm with the garlic yogurt sauce on the side.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the kofta mixture rest for 30 minutes before cooking.
Serve with pita bread or rice for a complete meal.
Adjust the garlic in the yogurt sauce according to your taste preference.
