Homemade Chicken Tenders

Delicious and crispy chicken tenders that provide a satisfying crunch and tender meat inside. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (or Panko)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into even strips, about 1 inch wide.
  2. Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, one with whisked eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip into the egg wash, and coat in breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry chicken tenders in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F).
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.

Notes

Consider baking or air frying the tenders for a healthier version. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 2 months.
