Cheesy Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole You Can’t Resist!

A delicious and hearty breakfast casserole made with tater tots, cheese, and eggs, perfect for a family brunch.

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the frozen tater tots evenly across the bottom.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the tater tots, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle the cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. If using, add the crumbled bacon on top of the cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
