Cheesy Garlic Bread Sloppy Joe Melts

A delightful fusion of Sloppy Joe flavors served on crispy garlic bread and topped with gooey cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Sloppy Joe Sauce
  • 8 slices Garlic Bread
  • 1 cup Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup Onions (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Bell Peppers (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until crumbled and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Mix the Sloppy Joe sauce with the beef and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add sautéed onions and bell peppers if using, and stir into the beef mixture.
  5. Prepare garlic bread, spreading butter and minced garlic as needed.
  6. Assemble by spooning the beef mixture on garlic bread slices and topping with cheese.
  7. Bake on a baking sheet until cheese is melted and bubbly, roughly 5-10 minutes.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Make the Sloppy Joe mixture a day ahead for deeper flavors. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
