Cheeseburger Eggrolls

A delightful twist on traditional cheeseburgers, these cheeseburger eggrolls combine seasoned beef, melted cheese, and vibrant pickles all wrapped in a crispy shell.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef and onion: In a skillet, heat over medium heat and add the ground beef and diced onion. Stir occasionally until the beef browns and the onions soften, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat afterwards.
  2. Season the mixture: Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, diced pickles, and season generously with salt and pepper to your liking. Let the flavors meld for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add cheese: Remove from heat and fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, allowing it to melt into the filling as it cools slightly.
  4. Assemble the eggrolls: Take an egg roll wrapper and place a generous spoonful of the beef mixture in the center. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom up, sealing the edges.
  5. Fry the eggrolls: In a deep skillet, heat oil to medium-high. Gently place the eggrolls in batches, frying for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  6. Drain and serve: Remove the eggrolls with a slotted spoon and let them drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

Customize fillings with ingredients like bacon bits or different cheeses. For healthier options, bake the eggrolls.
