A delightful cast iron skillet pizza with a crispy crust and ooey-gooey cheese, perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pizza Dough
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • Toppings of Choice (pepperoni, bell peppers, jalapeños, etc.)
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Dried Herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F.
  2. Heat your cast iron skillet over medium heat and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to match the skillet size.
  4. Cook the dough in the skillet for 2-3 minutes until it sets slightly.
  5. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden.
  9. Remove, let cool, slice, and serve.

Notes

Rotate the skillet halfway through baking for even browning. Add fresh basil after baking for extra flavor.
