Breakfast Protein Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled sausage or turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the shredded cheese and crumbled sausage to the dry mixture.
  4. Whisk together the Greek yogurt, milk, egg, and olive oil in another bowl.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow the biscuits to cool slightly before serving.

Notes
