  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In the same skillet, whisk in flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
  4. Cut the biscuits into quarters and layer them in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Pour the sausage gravy over the biscuits, then sprinkle with cheese.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and salt, then pour over the casserole.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
