  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup pickles, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots (about 32 oz)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the chopped pickles, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a large baking dish, layer the beef mixture evenly on the bottom.
  5. Spread the Thousand Island dressing over the beef layer.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the dressing.
  7. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
