Baked Banana Delight

A simple yet delicious baked banana dessert, caramelized to perfection with a hint of cinnamon and buttery goodness.

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons butter (or coconut oil for dairy-free)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup crushed pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your baking dish by greasing it lightly with butter.
  3. Slice the bananas lengthwise, leaving the peel on, and place them face-up in the baking dish.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the bananas.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar evenly over the bananas.
  6. Add crushed nuts on top, if using.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the bananas are soft and caramelized.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
