Air Fryer Salmon Tacos with Slaw

Delicious and easy-to-make salmon tacos featuring a creamy slaw, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 4 oz each), skinless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage (red or green)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 8 small corn tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Brush this mixture generously over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  3. Cook the salmon: Place the seasoned salmon fillets in your air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Make the slaw: Combine the shredded cabbage, chopped cilantro, Greek yogurt, and lime juice in a mixing bowl. Toss until well combined.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or the microwave.
  6. Assemble the tacos: Flake the salmon into large chunks and distribute it among the tortillas. Top with the creamy slaw and serve warm.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the slaw and season the salmon in advance. For a spicier version, add extra chili powder or jalapeños.
