5-Ingredient Keto Butter Chicken

A rich and creamy butter chicken dish made with just five ingredients, perfect for a cozy meal while keeping it keto-friendly.

  • 450 grams Boneless & Skinless Chicken Thighs
  • 15 grams Butter
  • 1 Tsp Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
  • 150 ml Tomato Puree
  • 100 ml Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 50 ml Water
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken by generously sprinkling salt and pepper over the thighs to ensure they’re well-seasoned.
  2. Heat the avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the chicken for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through, then transfer to a plate.
  4. Melt the butter in the same skillet.
  5. Add the tomato puree, kasuri methi, and water, then cover and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Incorporate the heavy cream, stirring gently until smooth and rich.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet for an additional 1–2 minutes on low heat.
  8. Serve the buttery sauce over the chicken with cauliflower rice or keto naan.

Notes

Make-ahead: You can prepare the chicken and sauce in advance and reheat them together just before serving. Consider using an air fryer or slow cooker for alternatives.
